Microsoft bought GitHub

Microsoft has bought GitHub and panic has started between developers. I think it’s not a good news because with this transaction Microsoft is bigger than yesterday and I prefer more competition between companies. Now, Apple, Facebook, Google (Alphabet) and Microsoft are very big and strong companies and if they can’t win againts other companies or products they bought it.

In my opinion now there is a big problem to other companies. Now, Microsoft can look in private repositories. I suppose that Microsoft say that it’s not going to happen but we can’t know the ture. We need to belive them and I think is very dificult believe in a big companies.

GitLab is a very good alternative. This service is similar like gitHub and it’s open source. For now I’m going to maintenance my repositories in github because I don’t have a lot of repositories and I don’t want to spend time whit this but if you are not sure that you want to be in GitHub I recomend import your proyects to gitLabt.
